About Macomb Community College
Macomb Community College is one of the nation’s leading community colleges, providing learning experiences to nearly 44,000 students annually. Macomb nationally ranks in the top two percent in the number of associate degrees awarded by community colleges and is the largest grantor of associate degrees in Michigan. Macomb has four campuses in Macomb County, Michigan, which shares borders with Detroit and Canada.
College offerings include nearly 200 degree and certificate programs (including those in high tech and high demand fields), university transfer, early college, professional certification, workforce development, continuing education and enrichment, and, through its nationally acclaimed University Center that opened in 1991, bachelor degree completion and graduate level programs through 12 universities.

- Center for Advanced Automotive Technology (CAAT), a National Science Foundation (NSF) Advanced Technological Education (ATE) Center and Macomb/Wayne State University partnership offering free educational resources/curriculum
- Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, a free resource for entrepreneurs, both Macomb students and community residents
- Innovation Fund Macomb Community College, Powered by JPMorgan Chase & Co., awarding seed funding to startups in an effort to stimulate regional economical development and job growth
- Albert L. Lorenzo Cultural Center: providing an ever-changing slate of free cultural programming
- Macomb Center for the Performing Arts: hosting national recording artists and touring companies as well as local arts organizations

Sports & Expo Center: home to the college’s men’s and women’s athletic teams (Monarchs -Michigan Community College Athletic Association members) and hosting a variety of interest-based shows and expositions.
- Michigan Technical Education Center (MTEC): Home to Workforce Development, the Workforce Assessment Center and the Procurement Technical Assistance Center (assisting local companies in securing government contracts), M-TEC is a 40,600 square foot facility providing education and training in advanced integrated manufacturing, automated systems and robotics.
President Obama visited Macomb in September, 2015, his second trip to the college and the only community college he has visited twice.
