Tyler, Texas is a natural beauty that exudes a small town feel with large city amenities.  Nestled in the piney woods of East Texas, Tyler is a natural beauty.  From the tall pine trees that surround the country side to the sparkling lakes and cool breezes, Tyler offers a meeting destination to remember.  Tyler’s natural beauty will rejuvenate your mind and energize your senses.

Tyler is located between Dallas and Shreveport on I-20.  Known as America's Rose Capital, Tyler's Municipal Rose Garden and Museum are an enjoyment for any visitor.  The 85-acre Caldwell Zoo is an educational experience.  Tyler has many family oriented activities and offers many museums and attractions like the Discovery Science Place and the country’s largest indoor water park (The Villages Water Park).  Whether it is an international convention or weekend get-away, Tyler Texas is a delightful experience to all.

Tyler is known for its mild winters and cool summers.  In July, the temperature in Tyler averages 94 degrees for the high and 74 degrees for the low.  Tyler does have many outdoor facilities and the cool mornings are perfect for a brisk walk along the Rose Rudman Trail (located across Broadway from the host hotel).

Travel to Tyler is easy.  It is located only 90 minutes east of Dallas, Texas and 90 minutes west of Shreveport, Louisiana.  Tyler Pounds Regional Airport offers flights from Dallas and Houston daily on American Eagle and Continental Express.

What to expect:

A week-long family friendly conference during which a person can not only obtain their 20 hours of NATEF required training, but can also make life-long friends while allowing the family a chance to have a quality vacation.  The annual NACAT Conference is a five day long adventure in learning and fun!  The duration holds a multitude of seminars from industry experts, a BBQ, Valve Cover Races (great fun for both the children and the inner-child in all of us!), numerous planned family activities, an outstanding Trade Show, an awards banquet, and keynote speakers (opening and closing).  Bring your family, make friends, and enhance your career!
